Adding an addition to your home can be very exciting. There may be a few things that pop up while you’re building your addition that you may not think have thought about. Here are a few things to remember while building your addition.

The first thing to remember is that there may be nails and small building materials laying on the ground. So you may want to make sure to keep your children and pets away from this building area. Also, if your pet is used to roaming free in the yard, you may need to keep them restrained and away from the building site. Another thing to remember is that you may need to sacrifice your grass and plants leading up to and around the building site. This area may be much larger than you think. The last thing to remember is that there will be a lot of noise. If you have small children or pets, you may want to schedule some away time or move to an area of the house that is furthest from the noise.

These are just a few things to remember while building your addition to help everything to run smoothly.
